Online Art Lessons For All Ages
Whether you want to expand your child’s talent or take up a creative hobby for yourself; our center will enhance your skills and improve self-development and creative expression after just one class. Virtual art lessons give you this opportunity no matter where you live. Become an artist from the comfort of your own home with online art lessons taught by professional artist’s working in the art industry. Our classes originate from our studio in California (CA) and offer instruction nationwide.
Who Can Enroll?
Ages 5 and up may enroll in our curriculum. Our goal is to offer aspiring artists an opportunity to develop and expand their understanding of drawing and painting and to instruct in the practical application of each age group or skill level.
What Kinds of Courses Are Available?
The Artist Center offers classes that engage students with a variety of mixed media. Our online classes emphasize sketching, drawing, rendering and painting techniques that originate from the “Masters Techniques”. The foundation for artistic expression begins with the fundamentals. Learn to “Draw & Paint Like A Pro”! With our 5 star program. Check us out on Yelp. Note: crafts, ceramics, and sculpture are not available online.
Our Mission
Our students receive quality instruction that is sound in structure and unique in its training. We give the artist an opportunity to explore their skills, ideas and talents throughout each class. They will also benefit by receiving individual guidance from a professional instructor in all projects.
Online drawing courses include the use of graphite, charcoal, ink, pastels, colored pencil, and markers. Online painting courses include acrylic on canvas.
- Figure drawing: Manikins, Characters, Fashion and real life.
- Portraits: Head construction/abstractions, use of tone, compositions.
- Animals: construction, overlapping shapes and tones.
- Landscapes: compositional studies, values, foreground, mid-ground, background.
- Still life: dimensional shapes, compositional studies, values, edges.
- Fashion: acting with the pencil, stylizing, expression.
- Comics and manga: construction, proportion, line quality, comic framing,
- Storyboards: Telling a story quickly, framing, backgrounds, characters.
In the end, our virtual art courses teach students how to produce artwork of any subject.
How Long Are Classes?
We offer courses throughout the year. You may sign up at any time throughout the year where space permits for an 8 week course. We offer single-class sessions for $50.00 for those who are unable to commit to a full course. If you decide after that lesson you would like to commit, the extra $10.00 is credited to your 8-week session.
